Why Our Shipping Prices (kind of) Suck – For Now

We get it – nobody loves paying for shipping.

And yes, our flat rate isn’t the lowest out there.

Here’s why.

At this stage, we don’t yet ship at the same volumes as other D2C stores. That means we don’t get the deep carrier discounts that come with lots of parcels a year.

We do, however, pass every saving we can on to you – our shipping rates are already better than you’d get through the post service, thanks to the amazing team at our warehouse who help us keep things lean and reliable.

As we grow, that will change fast.

We’ll track the data, negotiate better carrier rates, and drop prices the moment we can – and when that day comes, we’ll make noise about it.

In the meantime:

  • Our product prices are as kind as we can make them – genuinely premium quality, honestly priced;

  • Our rewards stack gives you 10% back for life, and another 10% if you bundle, so the value keeps building;

  • Our free shipping threshold is set where we need it to be right now, but that too will move lower as we grow.

So yes – our shipping price isn’t where we want it to be, yet.

But everything else?

Well we think, we’ve hit the kind of value we built MADKIND to stand for. What do you think?

Shipping Costs

We offer free shipping on orders over $75 (after discounts).

For orders under $75, shipping is calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, and destination. The price shown includes all packaging and handling fees. Orders ship from a warehouse in the same country as your shipping address.

Availability & Stock

We do our best to keep stock levels accurate, but occasionally an item may become unavailable after purchase. If this happens, we’ll contact you with options:

  • Wait for the item to restock; or

  • Receive a refund for the unavailable item and immediately ship the remaining items; or

  • Cancel the entire order and receive a full refund.

madkind's delivery model

US orders are distributed from our US Warehouse. Canadian orders are distributed from our Canadian Warehouse. Where possible, we minimize cross-border shipping. This avoids additional duties or border delays and improves the customer experience.

Delivery Timeframes

Domestic (Canada & USA): Estimated delivery in 1-5 business days.

We offer courier and postal options at checkout:

  • Courier (UPS/ FedEx/ DHL/ Canpar/ Purolator depending on location;

  • Postal (Canada Post / USPS)

 

Orders placed before 2pm EST usually ship the same day or next business day. Processing takes 1-2 business days.

Please note: We do not ship on weekends or national holidays

Delivery Delays or Charges

If your delivery exceeds the expected timeframe or you need to update your address or items before we ship, please "contact us" (see section below).

Delivery Methods & Special Addresses

PO Boxes: Shipped via standard postal services only.

Military Addresses (APO/FPO): Shipped via USPS/ Canada Post. Courier services are unavailable for these addresses.

Tracking

Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking link to follow your delivery status in real-time.

Parcels Damaged in Transit

If your parcel arrives visibly damaged or if an item is missing, please “contact us” (see section below) within 7 days of delivery.

Please take clear photos of the product and the outer packaging (including any damage). In most cases, we will refund to your original payment method without requiring a return.

Returns and Refunds

Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase for unopened, unused products with security seals intact and packaging undamaged.

We don’t offer exchanges for opened or used products.

Gift cards, promotional items, and items specifically marked as final sale are not eligible for return or exchange. Returns may be limited based on program abuse, misuse, or bulk purchases. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

To request a return or refund, please “contact us” (see section below). We will process your request as quickly as we can.

Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method once approved.

Order Cancellation

Changed your mind? If your order hasn’t shipped yet, you can cancel it by emailing us. Once shipped, please follow the returns process.

Data & Record Keeping

We retain order, refund, and defect‑evidence records for up to two years to support refunds, warranties, and fraud prevention, and longer where required by law for accounting/audit.

After these periods, data is anonymized or securely deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
