To minimize our footprint, eliminate cross-border duties and reduce your wait time, we ship from within the region you order from.

• Canada: Shipped from our Canadian warehouse via Canada Post, Canpar, or Purolator.
• USA: Shipped from our US warehouse via USPS, UPS, or FedEx.
• Timing: Orders placed before 2pm EST typically ship same or next business day. Estimated delivery is 1–5 business days.

shipping costs & efficiency

• Flat Rate Shipping: CA$15/ US$10.
• Free Shipping: Automatically applied to all orders where the final checkout value is $50 or more (calculated after discounts).
• The Logic: We set our threshold to cover the real cost of courier transit. As we grow and secure better carrier rates, we will lower this threshold and pass the savings back to you.

returns & the "keep/ donate" courtesy

• 30-Day Window: Returns are accepted within 30 days for unopened, unused products with security seals intact.
• The Courtesy: If the product isn’t for you, contact us. We offer a one-time courtesy refund. We will refund you immediately and ask that you keep the product or donate it to someone who can use it. This avoids the environmental cost of shipping a single item back to a warehouse.
• Damaged Items: If an item arrives damaged, send a photo to hello@madkind.com within 7 days for a replacement or refund.

the short version

We collect your data to fulfill orders and provide support. We never sell it. We retain identifiable data for approximately two years to manage warranties and fraud prevention, then we anonymize it. You own your data; email us to be "forgotten" at any time.

data retention

We retain identifiable order and support data for approximately two years after your last transaction to support refunds, warranties, and fraud prevention. Transaction records may be retained longer where required by law for accounting and audit (up to six years in Canada). After these periods, we anonymize or securely delete personal information in line with our obligations.

children’s privacy

madkind does not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13 years old. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us and we’ll promptly delete it. hello@madkind.com.

regional processing

Depending on where you place your order, your information may be processed by regional service providers in the U.S. or Canada. We fulfil orders domestically within each region and do not ship cross‑border.

Products are subject to availability. We make every effort to display colors and images accurately, but we cannot guarantee your device will display them correctly.

wholesale and B-to-B Sales

madkind products are sold exclusively for personal use. Purchases intended for resale, redistribution, or commercial use are not permitted. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order that appears to be a reseller, distributor, or bulk purchaser. Refunds and returns are not available for non‑consumer purchases.

billing and account information

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all transactions made on our site. 

A mandatory checkbox is presented during checkout; submitting an order constitutes acceptance of these Terms and confirmation that the purchase is for personal use.

We reserve the right to cancel or limit orders if we suspect fraud or violation of our Terms.

returns and refunds

Consumer purchases are covered by our Shipping & Returns Policy.

Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase for unopened, unused products with security seals intact and packaging undamaged.

We don’t offer exchanges for opened or used products.

Gift cards, promotional items, and items specifically marked as final sale are not eligible for return or exchange. Returns may be limited based on program abuse, misuse, or bulk purchases. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

To request a return or refund, please “contact us” (see section below). We will process your request as quickly as we can. 

Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method once approved.
